Meet Flavia. She’s the sweetest Chinese-Italian I know.
Her grandparents own our professor’s favorite restaurant in Roma (a Chinese restaurant)…
Last night we were eating there, and Flavia came up to our table and (in Italian) asked us all our names, and then started asking us more questions (which of course we couldn’t understand). I’ve never felt so dumb in my life. She’s 6, and loves Hello Kitty and faux hair accessories.
Heidi drew her a picture of a whale, and we watched as Flavia took it to a different table, and proceeded to fall over while coloring it in with her chapstick.
