Last night while brushing my teeth, my phone decided to freshen up as well. Luckily, I am a certified lifeguard, and I was able to rescue it before it drowned.
However, this morning I discovered that the inside Qwerty keypad was non-functional. Luckily, I am in tune with what’s cool and had a spare number-keypad on the front cover. As I sat in 3D rendering this morning trying to text Megan using just the number keys (old skool style), I decided I couldn’t live that way. Once you go Qwerty you never go back.
T9?…More like T-suck.
Thus, I walked to the Verizon store after class to see what my chances were. I was honest with Lee, explaining that my phone had some plaque issues, and was jealous of my pearly whitez. He opened her up and was unable to detect any water damage, seeing as the ‘water sensors’ had not been triggered. So, Lee decided I could probably just send it in for a new phone. suhweet.
Being a girl and all, I couldn’t go a day without a phone (duh), so Lee hooked me up with a special loaner phone (pictured above), fully-loaded with the previous owner’s text messages (Bruce asked her on a date!!!!111). I think it took a shell to the face back in Vietnam.
I assumed that there was a fee for having a loaner, or at least for transferring my numbers. I asked Lee what it would cost me and he replied “A fortune,” as he handed me 4 business cards. “You can promote me.”
He must have known I blog.
