Frank Fairfield - Nine Pound Hammer
Hands down the best album I’ve heard in a long long time. Heard his self-titled album playing in Harvest Records last week in Asheville, and had to ask about him.
There are two things that amaze me about this album:
1. This music is coming out of CALIFORNIA. WTF?! I suspected he crawled out of the hills of West Virginia or North Carolina.
2. This album was released in September, 2009. Not September, 1909.
Montreat, North Carolina
